Andaz Bangkok

Hyatt has entered into a management agreement with One Bangkok Co., Ltd to bring its Andaz brand to the Thai capital. The 244-room Andaz One Bangkok will open as part of the city’s One Bangkok development, the largest integrated development in the central business district. Located at the corner of Wireless Road and Rama IV Road, the hotel will overlook Lumphini Park and include dining venues such as The Andaz Tavern and Lounge, and a rooftop restaurant and bar.

Ritz Carlton, Bangkok

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is being scheduled for a 2024 opening and will occupy the first 25 floors of a 50-storey tower in the upcoming One Bangkok mixed-use development on Wireless Road in the Thai capital’s Lumphini central business district. Construction of the hotel is already underway. The hotel’s planned 259 guestrooms are expected to offer panoramic views of the adjacent Lumphini Park. Of the 259 accommodations, 32 of these will be suites and one will be a signature Ritz-Carlton Suite.

Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas, Coast of Phuket, Thailand

Serving as a catalyst for the Aman Group’s evolution, Janu represents a progressive new chapter, leveraging the renowned Aman brand to achieve a sustainable growth pipeline. While Aman is celebrated for its characteristics of serene seclusion and unparalleled service, Janu strategically positions itself at the forefront of luxury hospitality, dedicated to providing a more dynamic, sociable experience.

SIX SENSES KYOTO JAPAN 1

The innovative design firm BLINK Design Group has been enlisted to actualize the core values of the Six Senses brand in its inaugural Japanese property, prioritizing elegant designs that optimize space, privacy, and scenic views. The hotel’s interiors will harmonize simple lines with earthy organic tones, exuding a “beauty in the details” ambiance that establishes a tranquil and inviting atmosphere, all while celebrating authentic Japanese traditions and décor. Quirky elements inspired by folklore, such as The Moon Rabbit and the 11th-century classic Tale of Genji, will add distinctive touches.

Six Senses Kyoto is set to feature 81 guest rooms and suites spanning from 42 to 271 square meters, allowing guests to select their preferred view. Options range from the serene central courtyard with its biophilic design and seasonal landscapes to the gardens of the nearby Toyokuni Shrine or the captivating city panorama, encompassing treetops, temples, tea shops, and rooftops. Dining choices will include an all-day dining restaurant and a counter-only Sushi Restaurant or ‘Omakase’ restaurant. The onsite Six Senses Spa will integrate intelligent science, traditional healing practices, and Japanese Zen culture to offer a unique wellness experience.
