The-Hoxton-Edinburgh

As an expansion of its presence in the UK, The Hoxton Edinburgh presents an exciting addition to the Haymarket neighborhood. The hotel’s accommodations are distributed among ten interconnected townhouses, showcasing Georgian characteristics enhanced by vibrant colors, understated textures, and locally sourced materials. Catering to larger families or groups of friends, the three “Hox Homes,” self-contained multi-bedroom apartments, provide additional space for a comfortable stay.

The Hoxton Edinburgh will open in Haymarket and comprise 211 guest bedrooms, which will be split on either side of the street, spread across 11 joined-together Georgian townhouses. The Edinburgh site will also feature three ‘Houses’: three-bedroom self-contained apartments that offer guests long-stay accommodation and are aimed at the crowds of tourists who visit the city every year for events such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

One of the initial villas constructed in the exclusive Italian coastal town of Forte dei Marmi during the late nineteenth century underwent multiple transformations over the years. It served as a hospital for American soldiers in WWI and later emerged as a pensione in the 1920s, hence the hotel’s name. A hundred years later, hotelier Sara Maestrelli is envisioning the locale’s reinvention as a new, ultra-luxurious adults-only property, joining the establishments she already owns and manages under the boutique chainlet Collezione Em, including the recently opened Violino d’Oro in Venice. Completely renovated and reimagined, the property will be a tranquil retreat just a short stroll from the chic beach clubs that adorn the expansive sandy shores. The highlight is the newly introduced standalone villa, a duplex featuring its own private pool.
